I've finally started dabbling in 3D printing and I'm itching to create something entirely new. This was my first model since using a non-AutoCAD program, which took some time to get the hang of it. As for how it turned out, well, let's just say my first attempt is shaping up nicely – I think this bust will look amazing when it comes off the printer. The design I chose did pose some difficulties due to overhang on the chin area, which ended up creating a small issue with bridging across parts of the model. I'd say I've still got plenty to learn before getting that spot-on, though. I have no qualms in admitting that it's been an awesome learning experience and can't wait to continue experimenting!
