Cyborg Bowden Extruder Update M8 Bolt
thingiverse
I'm updating the Cyborg Bowden Extruder design to make feeding filament easier. The bearing sockets are now designed for smooth rotation, allowing the rotating part to move freely without obstruction. To ensure a secure fit, I've added recesses in the housing where the rotating part makes contact. This will prevent any binding or interruption during operation. For easy mounting, I've included M5 bolt holes on top and bottom of the extruder. These holes can be used to attach the extruder to various devices as needed. Print Settings: Printer: Kevin's Custom Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: I used 0.28 for my prints, but you may need to adjust this setting depending on your nozzle size (.4 nozzle). Experiment with different settings to find what works best for you. Infill: I opted for a 25% infill density, but feel free to adjust this based on your specific needs. Design Tools: Designed using Blender.
