Most voluntary closing devices, including this design, require sufficient wrist movement and strength for proper operation. This design does not necessitate Orthoplastic surgery. The fingers are engineered for improved gripping and to prevent over extension of the proximal phalange and distal finger segment. It accommodates a 1 to 2 mm cabling and elastic bands.
