Cyborg Arm Cannon
thingiverse
This is my custom design for a Cyborg Arm Cannon, featuring one main cannon and three smaller cannons that light up in unison. The entire system relies on a single 9-volt battery for power, providing ample energy to fuel the arm's high-tech capabilities. A sleek control screen was designed to accommodate a smartphone, seamlessly integrating into the robotic aesthetic. Specifically, I envisioned it holding a Lumia 950 XL, but it can fit numerous other phones with equal precision. To ensure precise assembly, all parts are crafted to be pressed fit and glued together securely. In total, approximately 1.5 feet of red LED strip was used to create an electrifying display, accompanied by about 4 feet of wire that was meticulously threaded throughout the design. Thin strands of filament were expertly woven in to simulate the appearance of genuine wiring, adding a convincing touch to the overall effect. The majority of this print was executed with high-quality PLA material, while the Cannon Diffusers and Shields were printed with clear PETG and red translucent PETG respectively, allowing for maximum visibility and impact. This Cyborg Arm Cannon design allows for effortless assembly on either right or left arms, catering to diverse user preferences. Moreover, parts can be scaled up or down as needed to accommodate bigger or smaller arm requirements.
