Initially, I experimented with various materials and techniques, including blinn and lambert surfaces to achieve a desired visual effect. In the process, I gained valuable insights into several key concepts: The distinction between blinn materials and lambert surfaces emerged as a crucial aspect of my learning experience. Extruding on a curve proved to be a challenging yet rewarding task that pushed my creative boundaries. I also mastered the art of creating bump maps, which added depth and texture to my design. Notably, I applied this technique to the wood-like component, while utilizing normal mapping for the grip.
