CyberPunk Gear Mask
thingiverse
I created a cyberpunk gas mask for my college art project, and I plan to make it more functional by adding a face seal and filters to serve as a dust protection mask. I also had plans to design a matching set of goggles and add some LEDs in too. If you're interested in purchasing one, send me a message, and we can discuss details like price and customization options. V2 is coming soon! To print this design, use a Qidi Tech 1 printer. You'll need to print six PlanetGear units, two SunGear units, and two RingGear units. Print files for each unit except the Center Piece and RingGear, which require supports. The Left and Right sides need to be printed with flexible filament like NinjaFlex. I used T-Glase for the gears and cover piece for a more aesthetic appeal. To assemble this gear mask, follow these steps: print all necessary parts, assemble the planetary gear units, insert pegs from the RingGear into the Left Side, fasten with glue or wire/string through all holes in the peg tips. Next, insert the Left Side triangle tabs into slots of the Center Piece with glue. Repeat these steps for the Right Side. Finally, press fit/glue the Center Cover onto the Center Piece.
