Cyber Wakizashi - Tacticool Toy Tanto

Cyber Wakizashi - Tacticool Toy Tanto

thingiverse

This lightweight melee weapon may look intimidating, but it's surprisingly soft and safe for use in various games. Attach it to your gear using shock cords or a MOLLE mount, perfect for Nerf battles, airsoft games, cyber-ninja costumes, or paintball excursions. The Cyber Wakizashi makes an excellent training tool - simply add some paint or indicator to the edge and practice disarming techniques. Print the blade and tsuba in TPU or a similar soft filament; the blade should be just stiff enough to stay upright. The slots help soften the impact of slashes, while the open tip gives it a tanto appearance without the sharpness. To make the Cyber Wakizashi easy to draw, print the saya parts in a rigid filament. Note: Printing a blade in rigid filament is highly discouraged - it can be extremely hazardous! When handling the Cyber Wakizashi, please exercise caution. Although it's a soft bar of polyurethane, you can still cause harm if you wield it aggressively. Avoid striking at the eyes or face, and only use the force necessary. Do not throw the Cyber Wakizashi under any circumstances - not only is it potentially hazardous, but it's also foolish. As per Rule 197 of the Evil Overlord List, swords should never be used as projectiles. All parts of the Cyber Wakizashi can be printed without supports: one Blade and one Tsuba in soft filament, one Saya Bottom and one Saya Top in rigid filament, and two Tsuka parts in rigid filament.
