CX-20 2-Axis Gimbal Mount
thingiverse
This is a custom gimbal mounting plate designed for attaching a Goodluckbuy 2-axis camera gimbal to my Cheerson CX-20 (Quanum Nova) quadcopter. The 3D-printed part will replace the top metal plate of the gimbal, allowing me to mount the camera as far back as possible without obstructing the I/O and USB ports or getting in the way of the stock landing skids. The gimbal damper balls mount directly into recessed holes, ensuring that the plate can sit flush against the quadcopter body. Most importantly, access to the USB port and connections on the underside will not be blocked. To attach the gimbal mount to the CX-20, you will need 4x M2.5 x 6mm screws. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: It Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Post-Printing: If printed without supports, you may need to clean up the screw holes using a hand-held drillbit. I personally used this method and achieved satisfactory results.
