This cutting plotter runs on its own, using the Gcode language to execute commands from a screen menu or an SD card reader. I design and edit my projects with the Silhouette software, either creating new files or opening downloaded Studio files in that format. To get those designs onto the machine, I save them as GSP files and then convert them into Gcode using the GSP to Gcode utility. The plotter's firmware was recently updated to reverse the axes on both the X and Y coordinates. A more recent version of the GRBL firmware added support for an LCD screen, SD card reader, and keyboard input.
