Cutting Jig / Stencil for Face Shields

Cutting Jig / Stencil for Face Shields

thingiverse

A jigsaw / stencil designed to assist in cutting curved edges on various face shields without the need for specialized equipment. Created specifically for the 3DVerkstan Face Shield, but adaptable for use with most face shields requiring curved cuts along the bottom edges. # Usage Instructions The provided STL file is oriented upside-down for printing purposes. After printing, flip it right-side up and position the jig on a flat surface. Insert a transparency sheet into the designated slot and mark the curve with a marker. Repeat this process for each corner, then use scissors to cut along the marked line. Alternatively, you can directly cut through the material if you have access to a cutting surface and a sharp tool, but be sure to follow proper safety protocols at all times. It is highly recommended to wear cut-resistant gloves while handling the jig and secure it with a clamp if you plan on making direct cuts.
