Updated 04/22/2020: The new cone shape produces less friction on the grass during mowing, resulting in quieter operation. I designed the print with internal support structures. REMEMBER: The knives must be loose, allowing them to freely spin when encountering obstacles. This design enables users to bypass the expensive original fixed robomow blade. This disc mimics the functionality of popular models such as Worx and Husqvarna. The prototype was printed in PLA for testing purposes; however, a more durable filament should be chosen for mowing on wet or moist lawns. Up to six blades can be accommodated within this design.
