Cutting board
thingiverse
I needed a small cutting board to slice shrink tube or similar items, but it was always a hassle to drag out the big one. Yesterday's failed vase print gave me an idea - why not just print a simple cutting board? It would be just 100x100x2mm in size, perfect for most jobs like slicing shrink tubes, small labels, and anything similar. To make this work, I used ABS for my board, but PLA will also get the job done. Here are the settings: I'm using my GEEETech I3 PRO B printer to print this cutting board. The settings are as follows: No rafts, no supports, a resolution of 0.2mm, and an infill percentage of 0%. Some notes on the settings: I used a 0.8mm nozzle for this print, but you can also use a 0.4mm nozzle if you want - just be prepared for a longer printing time. To ensure the part is solid, I set both the top and bottom layers to 1.2mm thick. If you're using ABS like me, don't forget to add a brim to prevent warping.
