Cutting board holder for drying

Cutting board holder for drying

thingiverse

We position our cutting boards on a holder after washing them so they can air dry properly. We used to place them on a towel, but that method doesn't allow for effective drying, resulting in mold growth over time. This setup is better because it allows you to dry three cutting boards while keeping them upright. The contact surface between the holder and board is minimal, enabling complete drying. There's also a small pan at the bottom to catch any excess water. We use this holder with cutting boards measuring up to 10 inches by 14 inches in size. It's likely that it will work just as well for even larger boards. This innovative design was created using OpenSCAD and refined with Inkscape for the curved section.
