The Child is a human infant, one of the last of his kind, and the focus of the story. He has been kidnapped by the Imperial forces and is being held captive on the planet Arvala-7. He is found by Din Djarin, a bounty hunter known as "the Mandalorian," who takes it upon himself to return the Child to its people.
