Designed to work seamlessly with Cutler Hammer Panels, I utilize a Shoulder Screw made from high-quality 316 SS Stainless Hex #10-32 material. This screw boasts a .300" shoulder and a substantial .550" length. To secure it firmly in place from within, I employ 10-32 nuts. The standard model available online typically offers basic functionality at its core, mirroring the capabilities of a standard interlock costing over $70. Its primary function is to prevent the simultaneous activation of the Generator and Main breaker switch. Nothing more. In contrast, my custom design not only performs this essential task but also forces users to disable multiple 240V breakers. This added layer of safety was a deliberate choice made possible by my generator's limitations: its 120V output restricts me to powering only one leg of the breaker panel at a time.
