Cute Shelf Bracket
thingiverse
I designed a simple shelf bracket as an alternative to the bulky and unsightly Ikea units I had purchased. The large size of these brackets prompted me to create a project that would allow me to learn Fusion 360, a computer-aided design software. These brackets are intended to be quick to print and do not require any supports or additional features; simply mirror them for symmetry. They should provide adequate stability, but I have yet to conduct any tests on their failure points, and I only use them in low-stress applications. The wooden part of the bracket is an Ikea Ekby model, as I was too lazy to visit a hardware store and stain or sand my own panels. The screw holes are parametric and can be adjusted as needed; however, the rest of the parameters do not work well due to this being my first time modeling in Fusion.
