Cute Ram Keyring

This keychan was intended as a gift for the students who attended an extra workshop about 3D graphic (school year 2021/22). The version you can find here is almost identical to the original one, except for the missing "PON 2021-22" sign on the left side (PON stands for National Operational Program). It prints easily: I made about 25 of them without any problem. The model comes from a scan of a plush toy made with Revopoint Pop and a turntable. The plush was owned by one the students: we used it in the workshop short film, The Curse of the Clock (Find Me in Varallo). The short film is still Work In Progress, but you can see two trailers of it at the end of this description (the first one shows both the plush and the keychain, in the second one there is only the original toy). The 3D scan process was easy and quick and the output didn't require too much cleaning in Blender. The only exceptions were the dark and shiny eyes, which were not captured by the scanner. I remade them in Blender and used the Boolean Modifier to create the hole for inserting them in the head. PrintingThe eyes print separately from the body. The chin and the bottom of the lamb (belly and legs) needs some support material (see 3MF file). Printing takes about 2h 30' on my Prusa MK2S (aka Ariel) and 3h on my Ender 3 Pro (aka Mogura). We printed the ram and the eyes in several colors: the original one had white body and black eyes, but one of my favourite was the one with almost black body (Fillamentum Vertigo Galaxy) and red eyes. Extras  Blend fileBlender file is included for remixing.Glowing Eyes Ram!I used the 3D printed ram as a base for a simple VFX. In the first part of the video you can see a quick breakdown of the whole project. It contains the timelapse of Ariel (Prusa MK2S) and Mogura (Ender 3 Pro) printing the ram.The tutorial was made for my students, to help them with the FXs of our short film The curse of the Clock (Find me in Varallo). You can get more information about it below.“The Curse of the Clock” trailers (ITA only, sorry!)In our short film, the ram plays the role of the Nachte Lam (night lamb): the Nachte Lam is a legendary creature foreteller of misfortune. It looks like an ordinary lamb, with a black and white mant, but it doesn't leave prints on the snow. If you see the Nachte Lam you -or a close relative of you- will die in six months. When was younger, my father (born in 1936) was friend of a man who told him about his encounter with the Nachte Lam. He was a child at time: it was dawn when he awakened. It had just snowed and there was a strange white light. He saw a lamb from the window. It didn't look like one of their animals, so he went ouside. The lamb didn't leave prints on the snow. He came back inside, frightened and told what he saw to his grandmother. She said him that he didn't have to worry: the lamb wasn't there for him, but for her. About six months later the woman died. Source: Edoardo Zanoletti.
