Cute Owl Checkers & Crowns

I crafted some exquisite owls for my wife and I discovered they would make outstanding checkers. The crowns are engineered to fit snugly on the owls. I scaled the owls up by a factor of five hundred percent from the original design created by budgiesarecool, accessible at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:709768. At five hundred percent the owls fit comfortably inside a 1-inch square, rendering them suitable for most boards. You will require twelve owl pieces in each color and eight crown pieces in yellow or gold. I designed the crown using PLA material so if you are printing with ABS you may need to print the crown at a scale greater than one hundred percent. It would be wise to print one crown and one owl to test the fit before proceeding to large-scale production. I printed the owls with 300 micron layer height, fifteen percent infill, and no supports. The crowns were printed at 300 microns, fifteen percent infill, and with supports.
