Cute Octo Graduate

Cute Octo Graduate

thingiverse

The Cute Octo designed by MakerBot is finally ready for graduation this year, adorned with '15 on its cap and a loop at the back that can be used as a keychain gift. I had been prompted to model it in Rhino 3D for my sister who wanted one especially for her graduation day. Since no support material is required, you are free to make changes as needed. However, if you're using printrbot, it's recommended to switch to semiflex filament so that the final result will be soft and squishy. Before you start printing, remember to set the layer height to 200 microns and use a moderate infill percentage of 5%. Feel free to experiment by changing colors during the last layers. If you do decide to keep it in its original configuration, you can expect it to retain a clean look with clearly defined lines for all its features.
