My child created these adorable designs to serve as game pieces for a school project featuring a cat, lion, mouse, snake, fox and pig. I printed them with a solid base using transparent filament before switching to black filament for the details. These designs can also be used as stamps by gluing them to a block of wood or printing one of the handle files and supergluing it in place. I've included stamp pieces with thinner bases that are optimized specifically for this purpose. Here's how I made these: 1. First, my child drew each design freehand using ink. 2. Next, I scanned the drawings to create a digital image. 3. I imported the images into Inkscape and used its tracing feature to convert them into editable vector graphics. I then cleaned up the designs and added a background color. 4. After that, I exported the designs from Inkscape as OpenSCAD files using an extension that allows seamless integration between the two programs (make sure to use 0.01 mm precision when exporting, or the thin lines may not render correctly). 5. Finally, I tweaked the OpenSCAD output by thickening the lines for a more polished look.
