This basic model of iron meteorite was crafted to gain further insight into procedural texturing within Substance Designer's framework. The Widmanstätten patterns visible after cutting nickel-rich meteorites are unique structures formed by kamacite and taenite, which can only develop over millions of years of extremely slow cooling in outer space.
