Cut Away NMR Spectrometer
thingiverse
A cut away model of a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer. The heatsinks (black) keep the liquid nitrogen ports from freezing up. The long yellow ports on top are for venting and filling liquid helium. The legs are modelled after the Bruker 700 Avance spectrometer. The inner board (orange) is removable, showing the gradient coild (bottom half) with sample spinner and upper bore. The magnet is shown as the yellow coil, in the middle of the inner liquid helium chamber, and outer chamber holds liquid nitrogen which insulated the helium to slow boiling off.
