thingiverse
I loved the design of the kitchen spice shelf/rack by ceerzet from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3128614). Thanks for sharing it, ceerzet! For my project, I wanted a slightly deeper shelf and a wall-mounting system instead of hanging from above. Additionally, I preferred to use wooden dowels over metal tubes. To achieve this, I remixed ceerzet's shelf by importing his .stl file into OpenSCAD and included his original "spice_shelf.stl" file with my remix. In my OpenSCAD setup, I prefer to keep imports separate from outputs, so I left a commented-out line in the code to show how I like to organize my files. However, as I understand it, this setup won't work with the customizer. To address this, I incorporated Wouter Robers' "Rounded primitives for OpenSCAD" library (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:58478) into my OpenSCAD file, hoping to enable customizer functionality. Although the library reports an error when opening the file initially, it doesn't seem to affect the output.
