Customized Pulley With Bolt Tabs

A custom pulley sheave designed for easy installation on any structure. Based on the original design found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1362586, I created a modified version with this customized model. This project was completed using Customizer! Here's how it was done: A customizable pulley case with secure boltable tabs was designed. I remixed a parametric model using the advanced features of Customizer and a related project called Pulley systems (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1362586). The resulting STL file was imported into Rhino 3D, where it served as the basis for creating a pulley case that could be bolted to any surface instead of hanging with a line. Next, I exported the NURB model from Rhino 3D and uploaded it to Thingiverse. This project was undertaken as part of my coursework in The 3D Printing Revolution on Coursera.
