I am building a customized end cap for my MPCNC machine, specifically designed to fit 1" OD x 0.870" ID tubes. This project is based on the design found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:380240. I used the Customizer tool (http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=380240) to tailor this design to my needs. To assemble and use your end cap, follow these steps: Using the options below, you can adjust the settings to suit your requirements: * Set the level of detail ($fn = 100) for a high-resolution finish * Specify the inner diameter (D_in = 22) of the tube * Add a border (bordure = 6) around the edge * Determine the height (H = 15) of the end cap * Set the outer diameter (D_out = 25.4) to match your needs * Define the radius of the edge (r_edge = 3) * Choose an engraving style (engraving = none)
