Customizeable Wine Cork Holder
thingiverse
6 Helix wine cork holder featuring a projecting letter rising from its base that can also function as a wax stamp underneath when flipped up or down. For customization purposes, access to FreeCAD, a free and open source CAD software available at http://www.freecadweb.org is required. Instructions for customization follow. I obtained the best results by printing at 97% scale with three shells and low infill in ABS at 245C. To personalize the holder using your initials, refer to the screenshot as a reference - FreeCAD can be used to modify the parameter of "Text String" within the specified area, and you must specify the path for the desired font file. You might need to adjust the text size based on the chosen letter by modifying the value above the text entry field. If the positioning needs to be adjusted, go one level up in the hierarchy, select "Custom Text," switch to the data tab at the bottom, expand Placement, then move the X and Y coordinates slightly under Position to center your initials. To export, select "Wine Cork Holder" and "Custom Text" simultaneously (not the all-caps variant) from the file menu, followed by Export... Choose Mesh Format, and enter your desired filename - the STL extension is the default for mesh formats.
