A versatile spool holder, specifically crafted for Flashforge Creator Pro 3D printers equipped with two horizontal slots at the rear, is available here. This custom-designed holder employs a unique U-shaped hanger that facilitates effortless insertion and removal of the spool. Located one spool width away from a wall, standard Z-shape hangers hinder easy spool replacement in my setup. In contrast, this novel design enables the user to lift the entire spool with the holder, simply pulling it slightly out before releasing. Insertion is equally simple, as the sloping ends of the hanger smoothly guide the spool into place. Using the Customizer button on the right will allow you to tailor the dimensions of this spool holder. I personally printed mine using ABS plastic with 20% infill and support material, then sliced it with Simplify3D. A crucial detail is to print the model as depicted in the blue render, specifically on its side. This orientation aligns printing lines along the rod and hanger for enhanced strength. Please note that this may require additional support removal but should be manageable.
