This customizable screw hole design is based on the GEEETECH X-carriage concept, primarily due to the distinct differences between this and other designs. Notably, the main contrast lies in the type of linear motion bearings used. GEEETECH incorporates a 45mm LM8UU bearing, whereas most standard 3D printers utilize a 25mm LM8UU bearing. In case you prefer to use printable bushings for added flexibility, you can explore them at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:91389 - they might be worth considering (though I've yet to test them myself). This particular component is designed specifically for users with the GEEETECH 45mm LM8UU setup but who need more flexible screw hole profiles without necessarily swapping out their bearings due to the existing profile's limitations. An additional enhancement implemented here involves expanding the belt slit to accommodate easier belt insertion, including slanted openings and flat teeth at the base. The design focuses on allowing users with standard 3D printers an easy time installing the belts around these custom screw holes. Please note that this design has not undergone testing by me personally, especially in terms of the effectiveness of the altered belt loop area between the two edges (an area that tends to give trouble for GEEETECH users inserting their belts). For your reference, downloading STL parts or a ZIP file is recommended. The latter includes both the original stock GEEETECH X carriage script and the additional 2 STL parts created as a result of running the scad code provided - but you will need the standard GEEETECH files to get these custom pieces rendered properly. You can choose between '1' for vanilla design, which defaults back to using the stock geeetech file
