Customizable X-Acto Knife Case
cults3d
This is a fully customizable case for an X-Acto knife that you can tailor to your needs by logging into Thingiverse and clicking the Open In Customizer button. The default dimensions are specifically designed for an X-Acto #2 knife, as I personally used them on my own printer. The case features one slot to safeguard the blade and should be slightly longer than the blade itself to ensure the tip of the blade doesn't get damaged by the end wall of the case. If you want to keep the case securely closed, consider using a rubber band; however, I simply rely on the friction between the base and the cover. Nevertheless, it's best to store your knife in a drawer rather than carrying it in your pants pocket. I printed this case with PLA material, 0.2mm layer thickness, 0.4mm nozzle diameter, 200°C hotend temperature, 70°C PEI bed temperature, and added brim support to prevent curling during the print process. Once the print is complete, allow it to cool slowly before removing it from the bed to avoid any deformation.
