Customizable woman with coat 1/87 scale (H0)
thingiverse
I reworked these figures from one of my initial 1/87 test prints (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2770684). I created the base model in MakeHuman and exported it via mhx2 to blender. There, I modified the model for printability at the desired scale. This involved removing mouth and eye cavities, modifying hands and feet, and closing all mesh holes. MakeHuman generates bones, allowing the figure to be posed in blender (I added the blend-file!). One type of figure needed around 4 hours from scratch to the finished blender model. Any poses can now be generated in minutes without altering the mesh. As seen in the picture, I created a woman wearing a coat. All my printed figures are made from that model, so you can rework the coat into a skirt or dress or bathrobe by painting them differently. Generating new poses is straightforward now, so I made a few of them. I didn't attempt to print all of them, but I sliced them without problems. If someone needs different poses, feel free to remix the blend file or post a comment with the desired pose. Also, check out the remixed model with a longer skirt: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3063503 - all the poses are available in the blend-file too.
