Introducing My First Customizable Object for 3D Printing This Customizable Watering Planter is a Solution for Placing Your Lovely Plants in Their Ideal Spaces Without Worrying About Water Spills or Forgetting to Water Them. It's Easy to Use: Simply Plant Your Favorite Plant, Add Some Water, and You're Done. The Customizable Watering Planter Was Designed with Minimum Requirements in Mind, but Its Most Important Feature Is That It Can Be Customized to Suit Your Unique Space and Needs. It Consists of Two Parts: the Reservoir and the Pot, Both of Which Were Designed with a Regular Polygon in Mind and Include a Customizable Feature Under a Few Parameters. I Only Have One Recommendation: Make Sure the Height Exceeds the Radius. Feel Free to Skip the Instructions If You're Experienced in Setting Up 3D Printing Parameters, but I Recommend Reading It if You're Not. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printer: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Notes: I Sliced the Reservoir and Pot with the Same Parameters Using Skeinforge and Slic3r, Both of Which Produced Good Results. Other Important 3D Printing Parameters Include Setting the Temperature to 220°C with PLA to Avoid Delamination in Layers, Vertical Shells (Perimeters) to 2, and Horizontal Shells (Bottom and Top Solid Layers) to 5. I've Always Used PLA for My 3D Printings, and This Project Is No Exception. Any Comments Would Be Greatly Appreciated... How I Designed This I Created the Customizable Watering Planter in OpenSCAD Using Modules to Develop the Reservoir and Pot.
