Another Prusa i3 variant LCD mount for acrylic, metal or wood sheets. I own a Sunhokey acrylic Prusa i3 with an LCD from RepRap Discount Smart Controller. While working with the printer, I switch between sitting and standing positions. Since I don't prefer adjustable tilt, I designed a fix tilt mount. Default settings are for 6mm acrylic thickness and 5mm mount plate thickness. A 45-degree tilt provides the best viewing angle for me. The tilt, sheet thickness, and mount thickness can be adjusted using OpenSCAD or Customizer (http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=1747377). UPDATE: 2/9/16 - Added option to remove screw and nut hole. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% Notes: Just print it. Optional: Use 2x M3 18mm screw and nut to fix the LCD to the mount.
