You don't necessarily need a stand for something as compact as thinoptics glasses, but you might still want one - perhaps if you have multiple pairs of different strengths and only want to carry one. Regardless, it's worth sharing since you (and I) can also customize the embossed label on the base or make other tweaks, minor or major, by downloading the scad file.
