Customizable Tap Wrench
thingiverse
Customizable tap wrench - for when you just lack the right tool or the right size of your tool. I designed and printed it to hold a 1/2 '' tap with a 12mm square, and it holds very well indeed. **Caution** You are entirely responsible for customizing and printing this helpful piece correctly yourself. If you design or print the piece too weak, the tap wrench could break while you use it, which might expose sharp edges and lead to severe injuries. Please handle this tap wrench model responsibly and consider taking measures to protect yourself while using it (e.g. working gloves). **Additional notes** * I also uploaded the original version (designed in FreeCAD) in case you'd rather modify a FreeCAD model... * If you download the .scad file and open it in a recent (development) version of OpenSCAD, you'll find a debug checkbox in the `Output Settings`. This will deactivate the round edges and improve the rendering speed. Unfortunately, the Thingiverse Customizer doesn't support checkboxes, so at the moment the only workaround is to first set the `roundness` to zero and increase it after you're finished with all your modifications.
