I've been on the hunt for a simple, easy-to-print snap buckle that would work just as well scaled up to 4"... spope's swivel buckles didn't scale right, but their basic design got my creative juices flowing enough that I came up with this simplified parametric design, which should do the trick (update: it definitely does).\nUpdate December 8/15: I made some adjustments to the post geometry for easier, stronger printing - turns out tapers work a lot better when they start building a few layers off the build platform. I also tweaked the tooth design.\nUpdate December 11/15: I made it customizable and did some minor tuning, cleaned up some magic numbers\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand:\n RepRap\n \n Printer:\n Makerfarm i3v 8\n \n Rafts:\n No\n \n Supports:\n No\n \n Resolution:\n .2mm\n \n Infill:\n 20%\n \n Notes:\n I tested it out with PLA and PETG, and it worked okay. Maybe PETG needs a bit tighter print settings.
