Check out this similar thing on Thingiverse, but in a mushroom shape instead of a sphere. The customizer takes 75x75 images, but be extremely careful about any diagonally touching pixels - even one mistake will stop the STL generation dead in its tracks! Note that I fixed a small bug with the outer edges. If you want to scale it up further, just fire up OpenScad on your machine and run this script.
