Customizable stereographic picture projector v2

A newer version of my design with a screw-on lamp chassis can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2078413 I tweaked the parameters of my old design, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1216198, and managed to get it printable by reducing image resolution and contrast, adding a border to eliminate tiny parts, and cutting off the sphere's top to create a flat surface that lies on the print bed. The dog was printed with 0.1mm resolution, while Mona Lisa required 0.3mm, which worked out fine without supports. The customizer takes pictures with 55x55 pixels; although the preview has some bugs, the rendered files are reliable. Higher resolutions demand larger radii, scaling linearly so doubling the resolution requires twice the radius to prevent details from becoming too small. To achieve this, download the SCAD file and create the image array using this script: http://jsfiddle.net/threonin/6dr8qu41 I used Simplify3D for slicing, and Slic3r also seems capable of handling it. A high-res version with 85x85 pixels is available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1923764 Printer Settings Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Notes: All parts are printed at 100%. I pushed the resolution to its maximum for the given diameter, so it's still sliceable in Simplify3D. Other slicers can scale it down, but you may encounter issues with thin walls if you go too low.
