Create Your Own Custom Stencil. I Wanted to Stencil a Boat Registration Number onto the Side of a Boat. Created This openSCAD Script to Work with Customizer for This Purpose and Other Stenciling Projects. State Law Requires These Numbers to Be at Least 3" So I Set the Font Size to 80mm. My Printer Can Only Print 2 or 3 Letters at a Time, so I Will Be Printing the Entire Registration Number in Multiple Sections. See Video: http://dai.ly/x6f7330 Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Medium Infill: Doesn't Matter How I Designed This: The Length of the Stencil Is Determined Mainly by Number of Characters and Character Height. Since Some Characters Are Wider Than Others, the Stencil Script May Not Compute the Length Properly for Your Application. To Compensate for This, the Boarder_Right Setting Has Been Given a Wide Range. To Use the Customizer Script: 1) Enter Your Text 2) Select Font and Style 3) Adjust Font Size for Your Application 4) Adjust Letter Spacing If Needed 5) Adjust Top, Bottom and Left Borders If Needed 6) Adjust Boarder Right to Give Your Stencil the Desired Length
