Customizable square tube corner bracket

This corner bracket is designed to connect square tubing and create a sturdy box shape by sliding into the tubing with ease. It does not require any holes for attachment, relying solely on a friction fit or strong adhesive to hold it in place. I created this design specifically for my perpetual pendulum wave project. At that time, the only corners I could find were printed at an angle, posing two significant problems: they required additional support and/or post-processing to print correctly, and the layer orientation made one of the posts inherently weak. This innovative design sidesteps both issues by printing a single layer that extends into all the tubes simultaneously. The result is a part that is strengthened by its own layers, making it possible to print without any support on even the most basic homebuilt printers.
