Customizable Spinning Wheel Bobbin
thingiverse
After designing a few bobbins in Tinkercad... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2579262, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2528103... I figured out that creating an OpenSCAD customizer for spinning wheel bobbins would be relatively straightforward so you can simply enter some parameters and it generates the parts required to make the bobbin. Like the Tinkercad designs, the parts are in a modular format that fit together tightly and print easily. If supports are necessary, they're very small/simple and always on an inside face. Often times you can just print the piece upside-down to avoid the need for supports. The default parameters are set for a Schacht standard bobbin. If that's what you want, go to the Thing I created here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2586323. I've also used this customizer to make a customized Majacraft standard bobbin, which you can find here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2586421. You can find the specific parameters for those bobbins in the individual Thing details, but I also give some custom parameters for various bobbins later in this Thing's description.
