I'm thrilled that this project remains active, and I look forward to incorporating your suggestions to transform it into something truly exceptional. My ambition is to craft lenses using a 3D printer, harnessing the power of SLA technology and polishing techniques. To facilitate ease of use, I've created a customizable file that allows you to tailor the design to suit your needs. Unfortunately, the model appears somewhat unattractive within the Customizer, so it's recommended that you import it into OpenSCAD or download the file directly. This file empowers you to generate spherical lenses (both positive and negative) based on the thin lens approximation. You can adjust the following parameters: * Focal length * Refractive index of the material * Lens diameter * Edge thickness (for positive lenses) * Whether the lens will feature a plane surface or be biconvex/biconcave with equal curvature As a designer, I face significant challenges in developing such projects without access to my own 3D printer.
