This is a revolutionary update to Parametric hex socket, pushing the boundaries of innovation even further! Added to this cutting-edge design are two new and exciting options: the creation of 8-point and 12-point sockets, allowing for unparalleled versatility and customization. With ease, you can adjust the wall thickness of your sockets to suit your specific needs. But that's not all - a detail/resolution adjustment has also been seamlessly integrated into this advanced design. To demonstrate its capabilities, I recreated the 7mm for 1/4" drive socket using the following settings: socket_size = 7; socket_type = 6; socket_wall_thickness = 3; depth = 10; drive_size = 6.35; drive_wall_thickness = 3; tolerance = 0.2; socket_detail = 100; To ensure a precise fit, pay close attention to the tolerance variable in the scad file or Customizer. If the socket feels too loose, decrease this variable; if it's too tight, increase it - and voila! The perfect fit every time!
