This is a straightforward application of my [tubemesh library](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2406760) for OpenSCAD.\r\n\r\nYou can also accomplish this using linear_extrude(), but tubemesh offers more versatility, making it possible to achieve complex effects like bulging in the middle and others, and with optimize set to 5 or so, it produces a higher quality mesh.
