Customizable Ship

Customizable Ship

thingiverse

Its a highly customizable ship design that can be built in various lengths. Future updates will include additional parts to convert it into different types of boats and remote-controlled functions. Feel free to experiment with your own customizations. This ship is my entry for the "Make It Float" challenge, taking advantage of its broad guidelines to create a container vessel made from interchangeable components that can fit on a standard 3D printer. I designed it in multiple parts to demonstrate how much weight an object can hold, leveraging the law of buoyancy which states that the upward force is directly proportional to the amount of water displaced by the object. Shape has little to do with flotation other than stability; instead, size determines the amount of weight an object can carry. To achieve greater buoyancy, you must displace more water, making a larger design more effective. However, aesthetics play a significant role in inspiring creativity and imagination. Key features include: Sturdy construction allows for endless playtime after printing. Customization enables users to mix and match parts to build boats of various sizes. Segmented design accommodates even the smallest printers by breaking down into multiple smaller parts, making it possible to create larger vessels.
