Customizable Shake & Jiggle Siphon Pump

I modeled this customizable Shake/Jiggle Siphon after Edgardo Doberstein's "SIPHON HOSE PUMP" on Thingiverse and other similar designs. The default geometry in the STL file features an 8mm OD barb suitable for a 1/4" ID (~7mm) nylon tubing, and it accommodates a ~16mm marble. I included my OpenSCAD file so you can customize it to your liking. To assemble this Shake/Jiggle Siphon, insert the marble first and then screw on the top cap. You'll need to add tubing to the barb as well. Don't worry about securing the marble in place; no screws are required for that purpose. Operating this device is a breeze. Simply shake the end up and down while keeping it submerged in fluid. If you stop shaking, be aware that fluid will leak back into the container around the marble since it doesn't form a water-tight seal. The goal is to fill the tube with enough fluid so that gravity can siphon out the rest using the lower end of the tube if necessary.
