Customizable Shadow Band

A shadow band is typically a metal strip that prevents direct normal radiation from reaching a pyranometer or other solar radiation detector. Made of non-transmissive materials, it enables measurement of only diffuse sky radiation. Designed by Michigan Tech's Open Sustainability Technology Research Group, this component is part of an open-source lab library.
