Customizable Screw-to-Screw Connector

On a random journey through designs, I happened upon the Toothpaste Transfer tool. Unfortunately, there's just no consistency out there in thread design and the tool didn't fit my specific need; no amount of scaling would work. What I really needed was a generic tool to patch any two different screw threads together. So, based on that original requirement of refilling a toothpaste tube, here we have a tool for connecting any two screw sizes you might need to connect. It's a basic thread design, and I've kept complexity out of it by sticking with the self-proclaimed "poor man's screw library", which I learned a little about how to use from another look through the Nut Job. This design then requires you to take a few measurements from each of your thread. You need to outer diameter of the threads, the distance between two threads, and the length of thread required. Feed that into the tabs for Screw 1 and Screw 2 and you'll be ready to go. If the two sizes are wildly different, you're possibly going to end up with some tough-to-print geometry, so you can then adjust the connector piece to work with your printer's capabilities. If your threads are of the typical type seen on plastic bottles these days, add 1m to your screw diameter to take account of the sharp edge they've shaved off. I'll be fascinated to see what kind of whacky connectors people create with this. If you do find it useful, please consider naming your remix well and maybe taking a picture of the final printed object with it's intended use. Incidentally, the default values selected fit two UK Colgate Toothpaste tubes.
