Jack yourself up! This is a customizable screw jack designed for setting up and supporting large awkward parts with precision. Two options are available for the screw jack top: Option 1 features a fixed screw jack top perfect for flat components, while Option 2 includes a ball swivel to support uneven components with ease. The current parts shown are specifically designed for a 5/16-18 threaded rod and nut assembly. Post-Printing Instructions: Press the nut firmly into the top of the screw jack base, securing it in place with an adhesive for added stability. Cut a piece of threaded rod to the desired size, then apply Loctite to secure a nut to the end of the rod. Finally, press the threaded rod nut into the jact top and use adhesive to fix the nut securely in place. How I Designed This Project: A screw jack with a swivel jack top offers flexibility and support for uneven components. Alternatively, a screw jack with a fixed jack top provides stability and support for flat components.
