Customizable ring former

I needed to shape a flat piece of aluminum profile into a perfect circle for my project. The aluminum sheet is placed between two parts that are then clamped together, forming the desired shape. To determine how much aluminum profile I would need, I calculated the radius and cut it to size accordingly. When cutting the profile, I recommend adding a little extra length on both sides, as the end pieces tend to resist bending well. By leaving this padding, you can bend a complete circle and then simultaneously trim off both excess sections.
