Customizable replacement clip for folding shopping cart

A folding shopping cart is useful; however, the original clip was frequently misplaced until it went missing permanently. Subsequently, various temporary solutions were used, like string and wire ties. To avoid this inconvenience, I designed a simple replacement for the clip. This cart model is popular among various manufacturers in different sizes, including ours from Amazon. The instructions include dimensions in millimeters and advice on adjusting the width according to your printer settings. Ensure the STL file is printed in a strength-enhancing orientation, not flat on its back. Adjustments may be required based on your printer calibration. The provided sample STL creates a tighter fit on one side, marked with a label for easy identification. This design aims to prevent the clip from being lost again.
